I've been trying to come up with a new name for my lavender and omh soap. It needs to be a little more appealing and it's such a relaxing, comforting scent that I was thinking of just calling it Relaxing...maybe. In the meantime, I've been going through what scrapbook papers I have left and using them for wrapping the soap cigar-band style. Once I figure out what to call the soap, then I can make the label and put that over the patterned paper. I find that I'm liking the uniform patterns the best!
Below is a pic of the lavender/omh soap. I left out the goat milk and honey this time, and thought the soap would still discolor to a deeper beige (from the fragrance), but it did not. I left out a portion of unfragranced soap to do an ITP swirl, thinking there would be some contrast, but there wasn't. If you look very closely at the pic, you can see a faint swirl in the middle of the bar. It does have white kaolin clay and beeswax in it, too...and note to Cee Gee...I only used 1/2 teaspoon of beeswax in the batch and I did get a little ash.
