oatmeal, goat milk and honey

I made a small batch of soap for the kids because their supply is getting low.  It's just a plain, unscented batch of oatmeal, goat milk and honey soap...but I changed up the recipe a little bit this time, adding in unrefined shea butter and avocado oil.  I have a son with sensitive skin, so I always try to keep this type of soap on hand.

I had better luck this time using the bar planer because the bars were firmer (gelled).  There were a couple of spots here and there of ash, and I like how easily the planer took it off!  Nice, crisp corners in the photo below:

  2. The OMH soaps look beautiful, Kalla! I love goat's milk and honey in soap and they are especially nice when combined. Looks like your planer is working out great, too!

    1. Thank you Jenny! GM and honey is a great combo...and oatmeal, but I tend to be a little light-handed with it, just enough to see it in there, basically. The planer is working out great so far! :)
