cocoa powder swirl

This batch is Twilight Woods. I think this is the third or fourth time I've ordered it...I just really like it. I realized something too when I was making this batch...that I seem to always pick this scent for my travel soap. Not sure why I do that, I just do.  Anyone else have a favorite soap for traveling?  Or am I the only one who does this? :)

The color has been different each time, too. I wanted to do a brown swirl using cocoa powder (in the pot) with this batch.  I always have a hard time judging how much color I need for swirling...usually I have too much.  This time, I didn't have enough...not even enough to put a swirl on the very top.  Oh well, the batch still turned out great...the swirling is just subtle is all.

  1. Pretty Kalla! The cocoa powder gives such a nice, natural color for swirling. I've never had a traveling soap, but maybe I should!

    1. Thanks Cee! I almost used my cappuccino mica (which is a very pretty brown), but I really like using the cocoa powder, so went with that instead.

  2. It is a beautiful soap. Like something you would use in spring. Never even thought about traveling soap. I just take the soap with me that I´m using at home.

Even if the swirl is subtle, this soap looks amazing, love its natural look.
