white tea & ginger MP

I finally used up the last of my melt and pour soap base.  A family member has been requesting White Tea & Ginger for a while now, so yesterday I decided to make as much as I could.  I used up the fragrance and soap base and it feels good to not have them sitting in a storage cabinet anymore!

As I was going through my melt and pour supplies, I came across some molds that I knew I'd never use again.  I made some soaps from those molds and listed the molds on a local rummage sale site.  Hopefully it gives interested buyers a visual...will see what happens.  I don't know if there are any local MP soapmakers, lol!

    1. I forgot how nice of a scent WT&G is too. I have the bars right by my computer and it smells so good! I really like the heart mold too, but using it is a little challenging...you have to prop it securely to keep it steady (I used pasta boxes, lol).

  3. I have never used M&P base, but seeing your lovely blue soap with stars makes me want it :). I am impressed by the white colour obtained with M&P base.
    Lovely soaps!

    1. thanks Natalia! I really like how the star soap turned out too...hard to tell from the picture, but the blue actually has a slight shimmer to it-I added a little bit of pearly white mica to the blue. The base I used is from Brambleberry..very good quality base!

  4. Pretty soaps, Kalla! I especially like the blue bar with the star embeds. White Tea & Ginger sounds like a lovely scent. I still have some M&P base, too, that I haven't used since I started doing CP. I should probably make more of an effort to use mine up, too. The bases are a couple of years old and I worry that I haven't stored them as carefully as I should have, so I don't know how dried out they are. I may have to experiment as well!

    1. thank you Jenny! That's how I would describe White Tea & Ginger.."lovely". I had two blocks of unopened soap base left, so I think they should still be fine. I've had them for probably close to two years too, lol. It does feel good to use them up though! I hope yours aren't dried out..good luck! :)
